Would you like to find a guild? Do you long to become part of an amazing guild, but don't know where to start? Are you having fun playing World of Warcraft, but want to step it up a notch to start raiding regularly? Do you already have a guild, but want to switch?

Well, now there is an easy way to find the right guild for you!

And heres how:
Simply go to www.guildtoad.com. click on the link at the bottom that says: "View Current Guilds". You will be taken to a long list of guilds that have a guildtoad account. You can see their realm, region, and faction. Pick one you like, and click on their name. You will then be taken to their guild website! Once you are there, all you have to do is click on "sign up" then "guild recruitment" and "recruitment application". Fill in the the info for a guildtoad acount, and then below that, also fill in the info for your character, your class, level, and reason for applying. Submit the form and it will be sent to the guild leader for review!

It is an excellent way to get connected and start having fun with the game!

How to get the coolest guild site ever

Step 1:Signup

If you have already signed up, please go to step 2. Click here if you have not yet signed up with GuildToad (it's free!)


Step 2:Go to your NEW! guild website.

This is the site you named during the signup process (http://yoursite.guildtoad.com for freetoad and coppertoad accounts, or www.yoursite.com for silvertoad and goldtoad accounts). If you have forgotten the name, you can look it up on the View Current Guilds page, in your account info, or else check your email for your welcome message. It will contain a link to your guild site. If you still can't find it after looking in those places, please contact us and we will help you.

Along with your welcome email, you received a “guild invitation” email. You can forward this message to your guild, so that they can signup and start using your site. You can also invite guild members to your new website by logging into your account and clicking the “invite new guild members” link to the right of your guild members stats.

Step 3:Login

Next, on your guild website, please login. The login button is located on the far right side of the navigation bar at the top. Your username and password are the ones you used to create your GuildToad account. Check your welcome email if you have forgotten them, or please click the " Forgot Password?" or "Forgot Username?" links at the bottom of the login page for assistance.


Step 4:Customization

Take a look at your home page. There are many ways you can customize your site! First, lets change your welcome message to one that fits your guild personally. To do this, you need to access the CONTROL PANEL. This link will appear for only the admin of the website (he who first signed up the guild).

To change your guild message:
Click on the control panel link on the very far right side of the navigation bar. Next, click on "Guild Information". Then click on "guild message". The default message will appear, and you will be able to edit the message to make it your own.

Some other things you can change using the guild site control panel are:

• Personalize your Guild Site Banner
• Change Time Settings
• Change Calendar Settings
• Change you Guild Site Skin (Horde skins, Alliance skins, and more!)
• Create your own custom Guild Site Design
• Start a Guild Recruitment Program using your own custom guild membership application
• Edit Forums, Forum Categories and Forum permissions
• Change user permissions
• Much more!

Exciting News: End of Beta!

You can choose the 'Simple Site Customization', which will allow you to modify an existing simple design in an extremely easy fashion. For those hard-core web developers/designers, there's the '100% Customizable' option, where we let you edit the CSS of the website.... that's right! You have the reigns! We are getting a new home page!

Thats right. Guildtoad is getting a major makeover. Soon the hideously ugly design that, yes, I created (hey, it was good for the time I had, but even then I knew I could do wayyyyyyy better!) will be forever history.
